What I Wore Wednesday: Okay, Not Really.

Alright, so I didn't have time to do a real outfit post.

I was kind of busy all day yesterday when Joey's mom surprised us (at 8:30am) with an awning for our outdoor sink.  The catch was that we had to build it.

Since Joey's leg has been broken, he hasn't been able to do any yard work so the grass was getting long, the kids' toys were scattered all over the place, and the bushes were overgrown.

Anyway, I wasn't about to take pictures of my stained t-shirt and shorts that I was using yesterday and I hadn't gone anywhere recently where I had to dress up but I still wanted to post a preview of an outfit that I plan to PROPERLY showcase later.

This was the outfit I wore on Valentine's Day, which I spent in the hospital with Joey while he was getting a cast put on his leg.  Yes, we live a glamorous life, I know.

This is my new favorite top - it's cute, on trend, and it was cheap I bought it at Ross!  I'll get a better picture of it for the next outfit post and show you other items you can pair a basic chambray shirt with (as if we haven't seen enough of those) to match your own personal style.

Oh, and before you go, check out this GIVEAWAY hosted by my Korean sister from another mister, Michelle at Mish Lovin' Life!

  1. Cute top! Sorry to hear about Joey's leg :( Ouch!!

  2. You look gorgeous! I really like the laidback outfit. I've been a big fun of shorts this summer and mini skirts.
I am really sorry to hear about joey's leg, I hope he gets better soon!! Big Hugs!! Val :)

PS. Joey must owe you a big big present for taking care of him like that on Valentine's day when he should be showering you with chocolates boxes and flowers!! hehe :)

  3. Oh, I love that top! It would look so cute with a maxi skirt, too.

Found you from Mish's blog (I'm in the giveaway too) :)

  4. Love simple and casual outfits! :) Thanks for stopping by my blog & entering my giveaway!
