I don't know what it is about this week, but I just haven't been feeling my best.  There were a million things I was supposed to do this week that haven't been done.  It's already the middle of Thursday over here and I've only written one post on the blog!  Anyway, in an attempt to get motivated again I figured I'd link up with Kathy for my confession this week:  #ICant.

See that?  I could only come up with one confession.  But to add a little more meat to this post...

#ICant seem to find motivation for this week.  Like, for anything.

#ICant find time to finish the Valentine's Day card designs I was supposed to finish this week.

#ICant get myself to finish any of the drafts I started for my guest post over on Vodka & Soda so I'm just saving them for next time.  Because there WILL be a next time.  Got that, Kat?  Sign me up again for the next available month!!

#ICant understand why I've been feeling so drained and exhausted all week.  I've been sleeping early and waking up late and I'm still tired and sleepy throughout the day.
#ICant post about fitness tomorrow without feeling like a hypocrite.  I haven't done ANYTHING for the past week or so.  No diet, no exercise.  Wait - doesn't sex count as cardio?  If it does then I've been doing cardio at least twice a day.

#ICant seem to get around to putting the clothes away.  Or sweeping.  Or cooking.  Joey knows I've been feeling crappy lately so he made dinner last night.  It was bomb.  I love that guy.

#ICant decide whether to make meringues or just buy treats for the girls to pass out for Valentine's Day.  And that's tomorrow.

Anyone else going through an #ICant phase right now?  Just me?  Whatevs.


  1. Hope next week will be better...I woulda say tomorrow but I wont ahaha. Ill give you few more days to get over this hump you're trying to climb up to. The rest should be easy but not everyone is on the same page. I love you, girl...:).

  5. I have a days or a week where I don't have any motivation to do anything either. I think we are all allowed to have those :)

  7. I've been so tired lately, too!!! All I want to do is sleep the day away. Fucking work. Getting in the way of my sleep fantasies and shit. Rude.

  8. My #icant has been lurking around for about 6 months. It sucks to be drained all.the.time. Keep getting that cardio in though for the endorphin's and stress relief, of course ;) And just buy treats for tomorrow. Just in case #youcant tomorrow. My high expectations are usually what sets me up for disappointment and more BLAH in my life. Hope it passes soon!! xo

  9. This is exactly how I feel about this week too! I'm pretty drained and I blame it on the weather!
    I can't find motivation to make V cards and desserts so in the end, I will be buying chocolate for everyone hehe!
