On a more serious note...kind of.

This past week has been a little more than cray.  Work has been a series of ups and downs and with the four-day weekend the girls had from school (yes, apparently Guam's education department needs Superbowl Monday off and then the following day to recuperate) my "routine" has been a little out of whack.

I frikken LOVE my blog friends.  Seriously.  Keena, Nicole, and Kathy are basically the SHIT.  If you've been following along for a while you may have notice the slight change in direction and content.  Thanks to the lovely ladies I just mentioned, I've recently started to bring my real self to this blog.  I'm goofy, I cuss a lot, and most times I don't really give a crap about what people say or think about me.  So that's the story behind my slight alteration of direction and focus lately.  I'm not going to try to fit in any more with the "popular bloggers" who can craft in their sleep, spend thousands of dollars on the latest fashion trends to wear once for a post and then never use again, and have a bajillion followers and comments on each and every post but never return the favor.  My favorite bloggers are real, down-to-earth, and tell it like it is - and they're the ones who inspire me to be, well, me.

For some reason my boobs are looking and feeling a lot fuller today.  Yes, I have been squishing on them from time to time in amazement here at my desk.

I know I said I was gonna try and create another card last night.  I didn't.  I was busy pigging out at Magellan, a buffet-style restaurant in the Nikko Hotel Guam.  I'm usually not a fan of hotel restaurants because most of the time the food is pretty bland, but Magellan was a pleasant (and tasty) surprise.  I ate just about everything they had - so much for portion control, right?  If you're ever come to Guam, I HIGHLY recommend you eat there.  And no, this is not sponsorship talking (but I really wouldn't mind some free food) so you know it's gotta be good.

Speaking of food, I just ate a Baconater meal from Wendy's.  I am so full and feeling so guilty for all the crap I've been consuming lately that I'm gonna try to workout AND run tonight.  Hopefully I don't die.  And if I do get it done, I'm pretty sure I'll be full of energy afterwards to bust out some more cards for you guys tonight.  I guess we'll just have to see.

  1. I love your down-to-earth style and the fact that I never know what your next post is going to be - it makes things interesting! Your new direction seems to be going well. Keep on being you!

  2. I haven't had buffet in a year! I'm craving some good food for this upcoming weekend! :)

  3. i'm glad you're findng your blog voice; it makes blogging so much fun when you just be true to yourself!

    Vodka and Soda

  4. Blog friends are the best friends!

I laughed when I saw baconator. When my husband and I were dating he got really drunk one night and was all bacccoooooonaaaaaator in the car on the way home and made me stop at the drive thru and get it for him. Everytime I pass a Wendy's I think of that night! Sometimes you just gotta feed the body what it craves!

  5. Let it out, girl! I am more drawn to potty mouths who keep it real than those who fake perfection. I just recently started writing like I speak, instead of trying to censor the naughty parts and it is freeing. I like blogging a lot more now that I stay true to myself and drop f-bombs. Forget fitting in with the popular bloggers. You fit in right here... on the dark side ;)

  6. Yay for Bacon! haha. If you totally stopped blogging...i dont think i would continue either...haha. I love ya forevs! you are amazing and anyone can not see that...well its their frikken lost! Enjoy what you do, in whatever you want to do! DO YOU! haha. I just thought of homo. anyways...i cant wait for more posts from you and fucking cuss if you have to, im not holding back no more either! besos!

    xoxo, K.Lee

  7. Love this. You will gain so many more REAL followers being true to yourself than you would trying to keep up with the "jones'"
