Sam I Am.

Have you ever taken one of those Sex & the City quizzes?  You know, the ones that tell you which character you are?  Well, while I do have my Carrie tendencies (writing, a craving for shoes, and my obsession with shopping) I always turn out to be a Samantha.

Yep, it's really no surprise that I'm a foul-mouthed, sarcastic, highly opinionated, don't-give-a-flying-fuck-what-you-think kinda girl.  I've never really been one to get all mushy and emotional over things (which is why it's such a shocker that I'm in the Valentine's mood this year) and I'm not afraid to tell it to you like it is, no matter if you like it or not.

So, when I was contacted by Sammy Dress to do a review and I stumbled upon this shirt on their website, I knew I just had to have it.  And of course being able to put SAMmy Dress and SAMantha Jones in one SAM-tastic post was just a bonus - because I'm so witty like that.

Anyway, you may have heard of Sammy Dress before on other fashion blogs.  They've got such a HUGE selection of items at such affordable prices (omg the shoes!!) that it's no wonder why they're such a hit with all the great fashion bloggers.  All you Carries out there better get your asses over there right now!

Okay, now on to the review:  Truth is, the shirt I received was a little different than the one shown in the photo on their website.  I was expecting a over-sized t-shirt but the one I received was more fitted.  I mean, I understand that the models are tiny little things, but the shirt was definitely different than the one in the photo.  Fortunately, I actually liked the slimmer fit of the top compared to the stock photo.

Another thing I must mention is that on the website, the lettering and trim is red but, as you can see, the one I received is more orange.  Again, no big deal to me since I wore it on Superbowl so it kinda tied in with the Broncos team colors - and when they lost it really didn't matter to me anyway since I only watch sports for the eye candy.  I know that all you fellow Samantha's are nodding your heads right now...

And while I have toned down a bit and gone a little Charlotte (kids, engagement, and crafting), that doesn't mean that I've turned into a complete Charlotte.  I'm still a beautiful, loud, vodka loving pervert trapped in a petite Asian body.

So no matter what character you are - Samantha, Carrie, Charlotte, or Miranda: let your freak flag fly!  Because honestly, when we're just having fun with our girlfriends - nothing is ever too racy, perverted, offensive, or crazy!

  1. That shirt is amazing! I would have no shame wearing it in public. I feel like I've been a little bit of all the girls at different points in life, but Samantha's don't give a fuck attitude is my favorite.
