I just ate a bowl of pepperoni...and other confessions.

...we had an earthquake today and I freaked out.  It's been years since I've felt an earthquake and this one was pretty strong compared to all the other ones I've felt.  I didn't go running around screaming, but the look of panic on my face was apparent because even the clients were pity laughing at me.

...I have not had any coffee or caffeine at all yet.  By choice.  It's 4pm right now and everyone around me is still alive, so that's a good sign.  I was craving a cold glass of water this morning and that's all I've been drinking today.

...the 10 Jell-O shots I had last night may or may not be the reason for my sudden water cravings.

...school starts next week so this week and next week will be crazy busy for me.  I apologize in advance for any posts I may miss or any comments or emails that may not get an immediate response.  I may also need a bottle of vodka to get through it.

...I'm still working on my DIY planner to make it super frikken awesome.  I took concepts from my blog planner and incorporated them to make one epic get 'er done planner.  I'm going to add cute graphics and stuff to it because right now its...well...

  7. Girl! The first time I felt an earthquake I was asleep and it woke me up because things were falling off the wall and my bed was shaking. I wasn't sure what was happening and at first thought that my dog was shaking the room... then I was like, Oh, it's an earthquake, I'm going back to sleep. Thankfully it wasn't anything serious. Glad you are alright!

  9. Aren't jello shots awesome?! I can easily down like 8 at a time because it doesn't feel like taking a real shot but then I go to get up....

  10. I lived in California for a year and somehow missed out on any Earthquakes, but I'm sure the face of panic was completely reasonable. 10 jello shots sounds like the start to a very entertaining story...

  11. I've been caffeine free today too! As long as I keep my water glass full, I am not craving a diet coke!

  12. When I was a senior in college, we had a small earthquake in GA. Nothing major, but it was at like 2am and I had been drinking a little bit and my friend and I tried to blame our friend who was passed out on the floor by saying he was messing with us. Then we proceeded to jump up and down on my bed moving our arms like ducks and saying fuck instead of quack. Oh to be young....

The good news is when we woke up and everyone was talking about the quake, we knew we didn't make that shit up.

  13. What's the story behind the bowl of pepperoni? I could eat a whole bowl too. And a can of Pringles. Sounds so gross! Can't wait to see your super duper planner!

  14. My first earthquake experience was when I was stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and HOLY HELL I FLIPPED OUT! I SAW the floor warp. No. no, no no no no no. I wasn't sure if I should just lay in bed and self-soothe or run out and start drinking.

The 2nd one didn't get the same response.
