With all the craziness over the summer, I haven't had much time to do anything and even less time to do anything wedding-related. Now that things are slowly calming down, I'm finally able to get back to planning our wedding and while I was chatting with my cousin the other day, the topic of flowers came up.
If you know me, you know that I love a good bargain and would always rather do it myself than dish out some skrilla to someone else. Wedding flowers, however, are not something that I can do myself. First off, I seem to have two black thumbs. And secondly, even if I were able to grow my own flowers, I'd need a field full of different flowers to create the look I'd want. And lastly, how the hell do I put them all together without it looking like I just picked a few flowers out of the ground and just tied them all together?
Well, as luck would have it, I stumbled upon a genius solution to all our DIY wedding flower woes: Bloominous!! The idea is simple: you find the arrangements that you like and Bloominous ships you everything you need to make it happen. Simple, right?
They have the cutest collections (my favorite is the Party Pop but the Bohemian Desert is a close second), the prices are all under $100, and they provide you with a step-by-step guide on how to arrange everything to make it look exactly how it is in the pictures! It's like finding a flower arrangement on Pinterest and then instead of asking a florist to put it together or going out to different shops to find the right supplies to make it yourself, it all comes directly to your doorstep.
So, if some time in the near future you see me post photos that look similar to this one:
You know exactly where it came from. Seriously though, I think I'd order one of those centerpieces just to have it on my desk.
Where'd you get your wedding flowers from? Are you a bride on a budget? Would it be weird to have a wedding centerpiece on my desk at work?
