2015 Wishlist [Update #2]

Well it's been a while since I've posted an update on my 2015 Wishlist.  Since the last post, I've been able to knock three more items off the list.  Check out my current list:

Not bad, right?  I got the CurlFormers a few months ago and have yet to try them on myself so I can't really give you a proper review on them.  However, my girls have both tried them and love them.  I used them on Chloe's hair for her Chamorro Month performance back in March (see below).  It looked great and it lasted all day with the help of some hairspray.  The girls really love it because the process is easy enough that they can do it on each others' hair without my help.

I finally got my Canon Rebel T5i last week as a belated birthday gift from my parents!  I haven't had the time yet to sit down and start playing around with it but I'm glad that I finally have a camera again.  Goodbye basic iPhone photos!  If anyone (*ahem, Lisa*) has any photography tips as well as recommendations on lenses and accessories (in need of a tripod and a remote) that they'd like to share, please do!

And lastly, I did treat myself to a Michael Kors watch the other day.  I'm still feeling a little bit of guilt for splurging on it even though (a) it was a late birthday gift to myself and (b) I did not pay full price on it.  I do really love it and I know I'll get a lot of use out of it because I got one that was a neutral color so I'm happy.

Update on previous items:

Jeffrey Campbell Soiree heels are still in heavy rotation and I'm still very much in love with them.  Looking to get another JC shoe sometime in the near future too.
BadBadJewelry Necklace is pretty much attached to my body.  I wear it just about EVERY SINGLE DAY.  Not even kidding.  Even my daughters have been asking for a customized necklace from Sarah.

Rosetta Stone was a fail.  I did the 3 month subscription and probably used it once.  I realize now that I don't have enough time to learn a new language at this point in my life.  Work, school and home life keep me pretty damn occupied so I just can't do it right now.

So, that's my update so far.  I have to admit that I've been going a little crazy with my spending lately.  What about you?  Have you been able to get something you've really wanted?  Added any new items to your wishlist?  Do you get buyers remorse sometimes, even when you're shopping at discount stores?

  1. You've almost completed the list!! Go you!!

  2. Yay, congrats on the camera! I love my Canon 50 mm f/1.8 lens. It gives great bokeh (blurry backgrounds) and is relatively cheap, like $150. It does not zoom and I have to take several steps back to get everything into the frame, but it's a great lens to start with. As for tripod, Manfroto is a good brand but any sturdy one will do. I have a $5 generic remote that works but for a little more, you can get one that has a better range, i.e., you can use the remote farther away. Let me know if you want links to specific products and HAVE FUN!
