This week wasn't as productive as the last one. I've been feeling pretty stressed out since I've had to take the kids to work with me all last week because my in-laws, who usually watch them during the summer, have been off-island. School starts next week on the 17th and I'm pretty sure I'm much more excited than the kids are. Anyway, here's my hits and misses for the past week:
Monday: C25k done. My legs were killing me because I didn't stretch or anything before jumping into it. Shin splints are the worst!
Tuesday: Didn't do a damn thing. It rained on and off all day so we had a light dinner (soup) and watched Furious 7 then called it a night.
Wednesday: It poured again and I had to save my car from potential flooding at work. It rained all day and night long so I did my C25k on the manual treadmill in the living room while watching Love & Hip Hop and Basketball Wives.
Thursday: Thursday was my sis-in-law's birthday so we went out to eat dinner (buffet, of course!) and then shopping. Didn't get home until about 11pm and I was too tired to workout.
Friday: Friday was a lazy day. Went home after work and it was raining again so I read a little bit, hung out with the kids and just relaxed. I know I should have jumped on the treadmill again but I just wasn't feeling it.
Going to try harder this week. Continuing with the C25k program and trying to motivate myself to get into the HIIT workouts more. Since school starts next week I'll be getting the kids (and myself) back into the school schedule which means waking up earlier so hopefully I'll have time to squeeze in a little yoga in the mornings again like I used to.
