Things have been heavy lately. Just in the past week, we've had three deaths in our family. The first being Joey's grandmother, the second his uncle, and the third being his cousin's unborn baby. Needless to say, it's been quite a tough week.
It's usually during times of tragedy and death when we start to ask "WHY?" Why did this happen? Why couldn't it have been someone else? Why must we suffer like this? When we're at a low point, everything seems hopeless. We question our faith and our purpose and this uncertainty clouds our vision of the big picture.
While I'm not really one to speak about religion, I do believe that there is a purpose for every situation we are faced with. We have to learn and grow from each experience so we can move forward and keep on keepin' on. Sure, the memory of the experience will always be there, but the actual hurt and pain doesn't have to. You got this.
