ABC Reads: January

Linking up with Mia and Andrea for this month's ABC Reads update!  Really enjoyed setting aside time to read, especially since this month has been crazy hectic with work, home, etc.  Looking forward to reading more and adding new books to my list this month, so if you have any recommendations for any of the letters I haven't got a book for yet, please let me know!

A:  (The) Atlantis Plague, by A.G. Riddle.  Completed January 2016.
B:  Broken Grace, by E.C. Diskin.  Completed January 2016.
C:  (The) Color of Secrets, by Lindsay Jane Ashford.  Currently reading.
N:  (The) Nightingale, by Kristin Hannah.  Completed January 2016.

Here's my mini-reviews on what I've read this month (in the order I read them):

The Nightingale
After Kristin's review of this book a few months ago, I knew I just had to add it to my reading list.  Thankfully, it went on sale during the holidays so I was able to treat myself to it and finally got to read it.  LOVED it.  Those who know me know that I'm a huge fan of historical fiction and kick-ass female characters and this had everything!  Drama, secrets, love, conflict, death - I seriously didn't want the book to end!
The Atlantis Plague
This is the second book in The Origin Mystery series and it was pretty good.  The story line was a little hard to follow since the author switches the points of view a lot throughout the book, but I guess that's just his style of writing as it was the same in the first book.  This book was more sci-fi than mystery/adventure than the last book so it didn't hold my interest as much as the previous one, which is probably why it took me the longest to get through.  I'll still read the third and final book in the series though, because I ain't no quitter!  Lol.
Broken Grace
This was the last book I read in January, literally finished it last night (January 31st).  I love mystery/thriller books and this one was awesome!  The story starts off with Grace, a 20-year-old who gets in a car crash and suffering from amnesia.  She has no recollection of who she is or her life before her accident and ends up finding out that her boyfriend was murdered the morning of her accident and that she is the prime suspect.  This book seriously has some crazy twists and turns in it.  You think you know what's going to happen then BAM!  Plot twist!

Your turn!  What have you been reading?  Got any good recommendations?
