WNWM: Quick recap of January

What's New With You

Decided to join in on Kristen and Gretch's What's New With You? linkup to recap what's been happening in my life lately, which really isn't much.  If you couldn't tell, the title "WNWM" stands for What's New With Me.  Duh.

Work.
As in, every.  single.  day.  For the past two weeks.  We've got a few huge cases that we've been working on lately that have been pushed forward by the court so I've been working on nothing but three cases for the past month.  I'm talking huge printing/copying/scanning/organizing/binding/etc. projects that need to be done ASAP.  It was so crazy that my boss told me to hire a temp to help me out.  Thankfully, the bulk of the projects are done now so hopefully I won't have to come into the office again this weekend.

Sewing.
Thanks to Crazy Little Projects' Learn to Sew blog series, I've been sewing up a storm lately.  I'm kind of addicted now.  Seriously, most of my time on the internet has been spent looking for new sewing patterns, tutorials, fabric, thread, etc.  I just want to stay home and make EVERYTHING!  So, if you ever want to gift me something, I'd happily accept gift cards to Joann's and Etsy or Paypal cash.  Lol.

I'd post a photo collage of the books I read in January but...lazy.

Reading.
When I wasn't up until 1am sewing a project, I was up until 3am reading.  January was a pretty good month as far as reading goes.  I knocked 3 books off my ABC Reads list already and am currently on the hunt for more books to add to that list!

Here's what I wasn't doing in January:  waxing my legs, getting enough sleep, exercising, budgeting, taking pictures, drawing, shopping.

And really that's about it.  Everything's been rushing by so quickly lately, I'm just ready for a weekend to sleep it all off and refresh my brain.
