It's a new year and it's time for a change. 2016 was not the best and instead of being on top of things and taking control of my life, I let life run me over. I set myself up for failure by creating impossible goals for myself and all those failures put me in an funk for most of the year.
This year I've set goals and resolutions that are attainable and will help me to improve myself and motivate me to keep progressing and changing. No more getting comfortable and being stagnant. I know my faults and I've called myself out on my BS so it's time to (wo)man up and make some changes instead of waiting for the changes to happen on their own.
I've written down some of my resolutions/goals (in no particular order) for the year but will be adding to the list as the year progresses.

// Make improvements around the house little by little instead of hoping for a major renovation.
// Declutter and purge to live a simpler, more organized life.
// Make changes to my appearance every so often.
// Capture moments each day by taking at least one photo.
// Set aside time for Joey and I to spend without kids.
// Stay on top of financial obligations and curb my splurging habits by budgeting.
// Take care of myself by visiting the doctor and dentist regularly.
// Make time to spend with friends.
// Sew one project a month.
// Draw more.
// Exercise regularly.
// Eat healthier and save money by planning my meals in advance.
